Job description

  • You support the sales manager as well as the office and field sales team in sales support and ensure smooth processes
  • With your planning and organisation, you register trade fairs, conferences and training courses and take care of their preparation and follow-up
  • You use your creative streak for the design and procurement of trade fair equipment, and printed materials and always keep an overview of their inventory, while responsibly managing the trade fair warehouse
  • You contribute your structured way of working by maintaining the digital photo archive, sending digital mailings and supervising customer satisfaction surveys; If required, you will also take care of the social media channel
  • Customers:You receive and support customers during site visits and advise them - over time also independently on trade fair participation and telephone enquiries
  • In addition, you prepare projects and information in a structured manner, for example in presentations or factsheets, and always keep all stakeholders up to date

Requirements

  • You have completed training as an office management assistant (m/f/d), industrial clerk (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
  • In addition, you have experience in sales support or internal sales
  • You are very confident in PowerPoint and your knowledge of graphics tools such as InDesign is a plus
  • Your very good written and spoken English skills allow you to conduct telephone conversations confidently
  • You are well versed in MS Office; Experience with CRM or ERP systems gives you an advantage
  • Excellent communication and service skills, the ability to work in a team, initiative and a reliable and independent way of working characterise you
  • Personality, a professional manner and genuine commitment are more important to us than many years of industry experience
