    Job description

    • You will be responsible for the complete data transfer and processing of all delivered customer raw data as well as their careful preparation for the further printing process and optimise the file formats
    • In addition, you will be responsible for data management and adaptation of existing print data to print-specific requirements and technical specifications using standard industry software
    • Furthermore, you will be responsible for digital sheet assembly and technical specifications using standard industry software
    • In addition, you will supervise the digital sheet assembly as well as the exposure and inspection of offset printing plates and ensure that the printing plates are ready for the machines on time
    • The realisation of orders in digital printing is also one of your tasks, where you operate the printing systems professionally and ensure the best possible colour reproduction
    • as part of your job, you act as an interface between customers and production and ensure the smooth communication of all technical specifications and processes between the departments
    • Finally, you are responsible for the continuous quality control of your own work as well as the conception and realisation of layouts for digital and print media

    Requirements

    • You have completed training as a print media technologist (m/f/d), digital and print media designer (m/f/d) or reprographer (m/f/d) as well as further training as a media specialist specialising in print (m/f/d)
    • In addition, you have relevant professional experience in prepress, ideally in the field of packaging printing and the processing of print data for offset and digital printing
    • You have a sound knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (especially InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and common prepress workflow systems such asB. Prinergy or Apogee characterise you
    • Your German language skills at native speaker level in spoken and written as well as business fluent English skills in communication with international suppliers and customers:
    • Furthermore, you have a high degree of personal responsibility and organisational skills to independently manage and complete complex technical processes and projects on time and with high precision
    • Finally, you are team-oriented and quality-conscious, always keeping an eye on customer satisfaction and meeting deadlines
