- You control and monitor the entire material flow from the warehouse to the production line so that the supply always runs
- You ensure that all required materials are provided on time and as needed at the respective workstations and lines
- You also ensure that the right materials are available in the correct quantity and quality
- You keep an eye on the Kanban cycles, control them and optimise their processes for efficient material replenishment
- You also coordinate the line supply personnel so that the operational targets are achieved (no disciplinary management)
- You identify possible bottlenecks at an early stage and coordinate with the warehouse control centre and the warehouse and production team leaders
- You also maintain all relevant data up-to-date and accurately in our ERP (e.g. SAP PP/MM and/or (e.g. SAP PP/MM) and/or WMS systems
- You work closely and communicatively with production, the warehouse, purchasing and scheduling
Requirements
- You have completed commercial or technical training, ideally with a focus on logistics, materials management or production (for example as a warehouse logistics specialist (m/f/d) or industrial clerk (m/f/d) with further training as a logistics foreman (m/f/d), technician (m/f/d))
- You have several years of practical experience in production logistics, material control or scheduling in a manufacturing environment
- You are very familiar with Kanban systems and have practical experience in them
- You are confident in working with common ERP systems (especially SAP PP/MM) and/or WMS systems
- You have a valid forklift licence
- You have also successfully completed a G25 examination
- Self-reliance rounds off your profile
