Job description

  • You will be responsible for the operational and - depending on experience - also strategic purchasing of materials, drawing parts and services
  • You will obtain, compare and evaluate offers and conduct price and framework contract negotiations
  • You will select national and international suppliers, build up relationships and develop them in a targeted manner
  • Together with Production, work preparation and sales, you ensure material availability, on-time delivery and quality
  • Maintaining article, supplier and price data in the ERP system and helping to optimise purchasing processes are among your tasks
  • You actively participate in cost optimisation projects, for example by bundling requirements, selecting alternative materials or consolidating suppliers

Requirements

  • You have commercial training, for example as an industrial clerk (m/f/d), wholesale and foreign trade clerk (m/f/d) or technical training with further training in purchasing/materials management
  • Your experience with an ERP system such as SAP or proALPHA will make your daily tasks easier
  • You are confident in using MS Office
  • You have a good command of written and spoken German, English language skills are an advantage
  • Reliability and team spirit are a matter of course for you
