For our client in Chemnitz, we are looking for you as Purchasing Clerk (m/f/d) as part of direct placement

Job description

  • You analyse the demand for raw materials, components or services in close cooperation with the specialist departments
  • You independently search for, evaluate and select suitable suppliers from Germany and abroad to ensure a reliable supply
  • With confident negotiating skills, you coordinate prices, quantities, payment terms, delivery times and quality standards
  • Reliably carry out orders and process all orders
  • Professionally draw up and conclude purchasing contracts and ensure they are implemented smoothly
  • Conscientiously monitor the quality of the goods delivered and process complaints to the highest standards
  • ensure punctual deliveries and coordinate logistics and deadline tracking together with warehousing


Requirements

  • You have completed a commercial apprenticeship, e.g. as an industrial clerk (m/f/d) or office administrator (m/f/d)
  • With professional experience in purchasing or procurement, you act confidently and in a solution-oriented manner
  • You have practical knowledge of supplier evaluation and contract management
  • You are confident in using the common Officeapplications and ideally work with ERP systems
  • You have a good command of German and English for professional international communication
  • Negotiation skills, communication and organisational skills are among your most important strengths
  • independent work paired with a strong team orientation round off your profile
