For our client, a leading global company in commercial warewashing technology in Offenburg, we are looking for you as a Forwarding Clerk (m/f/d) as part of a temporary employment contract with a takeover option.

Job description

  • You will be responsible for the timely national and international dispatch processing via all transport routes such as land, air and sea as well as the coordination of various courier services
  • In your role, you will be responsible for the professional preparation of all transport documents including all necessary import and export papers in strict compliance with current customs regulations
  • You will provide strategic support in exciting project work within transport and material logistics, to sustainably optimise existing processes and make them more efficient
  • You will correspond reliably with freight forwarders and logistics service providers and ensure smooth communication along the entire supply chain for our customers through your proactive approach
  • You will be responsible for monitoring delivery deadlines and processing shipping and freight complaints, ensuring high service quality and customer satisfaction at all times
  • in close coordination with production and the warehouse, you coordinate the provision of goods and are responsible for the complete documentation of all relevant logistical processes

Requirements

  • You have successfully completed training as a forwarding and logistics services clerk (m/f/d), industrial clerk (m/f/d) or office management assistant (m/f/d)
  • In your professional career to date, you have already gained sound experience in operational shipping processing and in the preparation of export and customs documents for international markets
  • In your day-to-day work, you are confident in using common IT systems such as MS Office and specialised ERP software and ideally have knowledge of modern shipping and customs clearance programmes
  • You are familiar with the latest shipping and customs clearance programmes
  • German language skills at native speaker level in spoken and written as well as fluent English skills in spoken and written are mandatory for communication with international partners
  • You have a valid work permit for Germany as well as a permanent residence in Germany
  • As a team-oriented personality, you are characterised by a structured way of working, high reliability and a strong sense of responsibility in dealing with time-critical logistics processes and complex documentation
