Job description
- In your new role, you will be responsible for the operational handling of daily ordering, including conscientious invoice verification and the coordination of demanding tasks in import logistics
- You will be responsible for proactive communication with international suppliers, external service providers and related departments to ensure a smooth flow of information and optimal cooperation within the entire process chain
- You will be responsible for continuously ensuring the availability of goods, keeping an eye on stocks at all times and taking appropriate measures to safeguard against impending bottlenecks at an early stage
- carrying out in-depth supplier evaluations and targeted selection processes, taking into account quality, adherence to delivery dates and costs as part of active risk management for the long-term optimisation of the purchasing strategy
- creating and processing statistical reports is part of your area of responsibility, creating a transparent database for strategic decisions and ensuring compliance with all relevant reporting obligations
Requirements
- You have successfully completed training as an industrial clerk (m/f/d), wholesale and foreign trade management clerk (m/f/d) or office management clerk (m/f/d) and have several years of sound professional experience in purchasing
- You have sound professional experience in operational purchasing, which enables you to confidently master all technical challenges in this position and to independently manage complex procurement processes
- You are absolutely confident in the use of MS Office, especially Excel, you are absolutely confident and ideally already have some practical experience in using the ERP system Navision for efficient data processing
- Written and spoken German at native speaker level and a clear manner of expression are essential for internal and external correspondence with all parties involved in your new role
- You have a valid work permit for Germany and a permanent residence in Germany
- You are characterised by your independent way of working, whereby you structure complex issues independently and always complete your tasks with a high degree of care, reliability and adherence to deadlines
