Job description
- You will be responsible for the timely preparation, detailed analysis and comprehensive quality assurance of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with the applicable HGB regulations
- In addition, you will be responsible for the independent assessment of complex business transactions and their correct accounting in strict compliance with the statutory HGB guidelines
- Furthermore, you will be responsible for the preparation of VAT returns, prepare various tax returns and compile the necessary statistical reports for official institutions
- The implementation of intercompany reconciliations at national and international level to ensure consistent Group data is also part of your regular tasks
- As part of your work, you will support the optimisation of financial processes by confidently evaluating large amounts of data using professional Excel applications, including pivot tables

- Finally, as the right hand of the accounting management, you will be responsible for the operational development of internal financial processes and thus ensure high data quality
Requirements
- You have completed commercial training as an industrial clerk (m/f/d) or office management assistant (m/f/d) with further training as an accountant (IHK) (m/f/d)
- In addition, you have sound professional experience in accounting in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and a deep understanding of modern accounting processes in an international environment
- You have a sound knowledge of SAP FI/CO and a professional approach to Excel, especially when creating complex pivot tables, You have a native level of written and spoken German and a good command of English for confident communication within the global corporate structure
- Furthermore, you have a high degree of team spirit accompanied by clear communication and a strong adherence to deadlines for the closing phases
- Finally, you are characterised by your structured way of working and always work with a high degree of reliability and an eye for procedural details
