- You regularly and proactively check the material stocks and availability at your storage location
- You compare the current stocks with the planned requirements from production, projects or other departments
- You also decide in which order new materials are stored, depending on current requirements and delivery schedules
- You recognise excess stock or potential bottlenecks and report these directly to the relevant departments
- You also work closely with Purchasing, Production, Project Management and the warehouse team
- You ensure that all data in our warehouse management and ERP systems (e.g. SAP) is correct and up-to-date. e.g. SAP) are correct and up-to-date
- You actively support the optimisation of warehouse processes and ensure order and cleanliness in the warehouse area
- Not least, you check delivered materials for completeness and integrity before storage
Requirements
- You have completed a commercial apprenticeship, ideally in the field of logistics (for example as a forwarding and logistics services specialist (m/f/d) or as a warehouse logistics specialist (m/f/d)) or a comparable qualification
- You have several years of practical experience in warehouse logistics, materials management or inventory management, ideally in a manufacturing company or a large logistics centre
- You are confident in using ERP systems such as SAP MM/WM and/or warehouse management systems (WMS)
- You also use MS Office, especially Excel, routinely for analyses and reports
- You are organised and always have a complete overview
- You are responsible and independent
