For our client, an innovative, expanding group of companies in the high-voltage construction sector, we are looking for you as an experienced accountant HGB (m/f/d) in Berlin-Marzahn for a permanent position as part of a direct placement

Job description

  • You will be responsible for the full management of the general ledgers and ensure compliance with all relevant legal regulations
  • You will continuously post all business transactions in the areas of accounts payable, accounts receivable and asset accounting, taking strict account of commercial law requirements
  • The entire processing of travel expense reports, credit card charges and cash balances is in your hands - you ensure the correct posting of all income and expenses of the division
  • through your structured way of working, you ensure the monitoring, determination and timely posting of provisions and accruals and deferrals and thus achieve correct accrual accounting in monthly reporting
  • you independently prepare the annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and actively participate in audits by auditors:
  • The submission of monthly advance VAT returns and other statistical reports is just as reliable as the auditing and preparation of invoices
  • As a contact person for all internal and external matters, you are present and actively involved in projects and special topics

Requirements

  • You have a degree in business administration or commercial training - for example as a tax clerk (m/f/d), accountant (m/f/d), controller (m/f/d), business economist (m/f/d)
  • Founded, several years of professional experience in the accounting department of a medium-sized or large company
  • You are confident in dealing with all common accounting processes and have already worked with several clients on various financial projects
  • Comprehensive knowledge of German commercial and tax law will support you, ensure transparent and correct financial reporting
  • Your German language skills are at native speaker level in spoken and written (C1/C2)
  • You are experienced in using MS Office applications and ideally have experience with the financial accounting software SAP
  • A high level of commitment, flexibility as well as strong analytical skills and an affinity for numbers characterise you
  • you bring a strategic, independent and structured way of working as well as solution-oriented thinking to your everyday work
