Job description

  • You will be responsible for the independent and deadline-oriented planning of electronic components and other materials to ensure the smooth supply of production
  • In addition, you will analyse and evaluate national and international procurement markets in order to identify potential for cost optimisation and new sources of supply
  • Furthermore, you will negotiate prices, delivery conditions and framework agreements with strategic suppliers:inside to establish optimal purchasing conditions and long-term partnerships
  • processing orders, monitoring delivery dates and clarifying delivery difficulties and complaints are part of your tasks in operational purchasing
  • as part of your job, you will support the further development and implementation of purchasing strategies and the optimisation of supply chain processes to increase overall efficiency
  • finally, you will be responsible for master data maintenance in the ERP system and the creation of relevant evaluations and reports for purchasing controlling

Requirements

  • You have completed commercial or technical vocational training as an office management assistant (m/f/d), industrial clerk (m/f/d)
  • In addition, you have at least three years of professional experience in the purchasing of electronic components, ideally in mechanical engineering or automation technology
  • You are characterised by your confident knowledge in the use of ERP systems, especially in the purchasing and warehouse modules, as well as in the use of MS Office applications
  • Your German language skills at native speaker level and good to very good English skills for communication with international suppliers:
  • Furthermore, you have a high level of negotiation and communication skills in order to maintain supplier relationships professionally and achieve optimal results
  • Finally, you are team-oriented, work independently and in a structured manner and are characterised by a solution-oriented way of working
