For our client, a large logistics and e-commerce company in Ingolstadt, we are looking for you as a Dispatcher End Customer Delivery (m/f/d) as part of a temporary employment with a takeover option.

Job description

  • You determine the capacity requirements for end customer delivery based on forecast values and previous year's data and request the required delivery capacities from the external service providers
  • In addition, you are responsible for comprehensive route planning and its optimisation, taking into account efficiency and customer satisfaction, and assign the routes to the appropriate service providers:
  • You will ensure day-definite scheduling, especially for urgent shipments with same-day delivery (SDD) orders, in order to guarantee punctual and reliable delivery to the end customer
  • In addition, you will be responsible for coordinating team absences and quickly organising alternative dates or communicating directly with the service providers involved:and customers involved
  • As part of your job, you will support the warehouse logistics specialists by providing the necessary data regarding route planning and the correct billing modalities
  • Finally, you will be responsible for data analysis in the event of queries from 2nd level support and support your team with training or release changes to the route planning system

Requirements

  • You have completed commercial training in a forwarding environment, for example as a forwarding and logistics services clerk (m/f/d), industrial clerk (m/f/d) or office management clerk (m/f/d)
  • In addition, you have several years of operational professional experience in the field of route planning or scheduling, ideally in end customer delivery
  • You have a sound knowledge of route planning systems and a strong affinity for IT, in particular very good knowledge of MS Office
  • You have a native level of written and spoken German and a good command of English are essential for daily communication
  • Furthermore, you have a high degree of initiative and motivation to analyse and optimise existing logistics processes
  • Finally, you have a team-oriented personality and always work in a service-oriented and reliable manner, even under deadline pressure
