Job description

  • You determine the need for team and vehicle capacities based on previous year and forecast values and ensure optimal capacity utilisation
  • You request delivery capacities from the service providers used, so that all tours can be planned reliably
  • You assign delivery tours to the respective service providers in a targeted manner, taking all relevant criteria into account
  • Planning and optimising tours is just as easy for you as coordinating team absences at short notice - this includes communicating with service providers and coordinating alternative dates
  • With day-based scheduling, for SDD orders, for example, you work in detail and with foresight
  • With your trained eye, you ensure compliance with all delivery processes and high data quality
  • You provide relevant data for warehouse logisticians, so that route planning and invoicing run smoothly
  • You carry out data analyses in the event of queries and act as a competent contact person in 2nd level support
  • You support and train internal and external parties involved in release changes in the route planning system

Requirements

  • You have already successfully completed training in the freight forwarding environment with a focus on scheduling
  • With several years of operational professional experience in the field of scheduling, you will impress with your practical expertise
  • Experience in end customer delivery rounds off your profile
  • You will actively pass on your expertise to internal and external stakeholders and thus promote team competence
  • Sure handling of route planning systems and a pronounced IT affinity characterise you.affinity
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office supports you in the analysis and optimisation of existing processes
  • Motivation and a willingness to improve processes characterise your way of working
  • You are business fluent in German, Good English skills complement your international interfaces
