For our client, a medium-sized mechanical and plant engineering company in Berlin, we are looking for you as a payroll accountant (m/f/d) as part of the temporary employment with a takeover option.

Job description

  • You will be responsible for the timely preparation and execution of monthly payroll accounting for permanent employees, taking strict account of all legal and collective bargaining requirements
  • In addition, you will be responsible for the careful and discreet maintenance of all personnel master data and the accurate management of digital personnel files in the system
  • Furthermore, you will be responsible for the complete recording and control of employee attendance and absences:
  • In order to ensure correct mapping in payroll accounting
  • The processing of all necessary certificates for social insurance companies, employment agencies and other external authorities is also part of your routine tasks
  • As part of your job, you actively support the specialist departments by creating statistical analyses and meaningful reports on personnel-relevant key figures
  • Finally, you are responsible for professional communication with external bodies (social insurance companies and offices) as well as service-oriented coordination with internal colleagues:internal colleagues


Requirements

  • You have completed commercial training, for example as an office management assistant (m/f/d), industrial clerk (m/f/d), or further training as a payroll accountant (m/f/d)
  • In addition, you have sound professional experience in payroll accounting as well as a sound knowledge of the relevant labour, social and tax laws
  • You have a sound knowledge of the SAP EC module for payroll accounting and HR master data management, social and tax laws
  • You are particularly characterised by your secure application knowledge of the SAP EC module for payroll accounting and personnel master data management
  • Your German language skills at a business fluent, native speaker level in spoken and written form are absolutely necessary for error-free communication with offices and colleagues:
  • Furthermore, you have a high degree of team spirit and a strong sense of responsibility, which will help you to manage the tasks assigned to you independently and reliably
