- You will assemble spiral bevel gearboxes and assemblies according to specifications and parts lists, always with an eye on precision and quality
- You will carry out drilling work on gearboxes such as oil sight glass and oil inspection holes independently, including drilling, reaming, countersinking and tapping on radial drilling machines
- You will maintain and service machines in the gearbox assembly area, to ensure trouble-free operation
- Visual inspections and quality checks - from measuring backlash and bearing play to checking the contact pattern - are carried out carefully and independently according to the work plan
- Service and repairs are also part of your job: You will repair service gearboxes independently according to order, drawing and work plan and carry out occasional service assignments at the customer's premises, for example installation and maintenance on site
- Processing calculation and test sequences, checking parts lists, work plans, drawings and dimension sheets
- You will systematically shrink pinions and bevel gears according to specifications and work safely with presses and induction heating devices
- You will actively participate in continuous improvement processes in the assembly area and contribute your ideas
Requirements
- Completed training as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d), mechatronics technician (m/f/d) or a comparable metal profession will benefit you, but is not absolutely necessary
- Founded knowledge of reading drawings and working with assembly drawings is a matter of course for you
- Experience in the assembly of rolling bearings and bevel gears is an advantage for you
- Driving licence and own car enable you to work flexibly
- Quality, independent and clean work are an integral part of your everyday life
- systematic and structured approach as well as a high level of care in testing tasks characterise you
- confident written and spoken German skills help you to understand orders, and parts lists without any problems
- you are confident in handling presses and induction heating devices
- you are a team player, flexible and willing to learn new things as well as work independently
- willingness to travel for occasional service assignments at the customer's premises is desirable
