For our client, a medium-sized energy supply company in Bad Salzungen, we are looking for you as Head of Sales (m/f/d) as part of the direct placement.

Job description

  • You will be responsible for the disciplinary and technical management of the procurement department as well as the entire sales team for the optimal control of all processes
  • In addition, you will be responsible for representing the company externally, especially at local events and customer events, in order to strengthen the brand
  • Furthermore, you will be responsible for the further development and adaptation of the sales strategy, including optimisation in terms of efficiency, customer selection and focussing of the business
  • Budget planning and responsibility for sales is also part of your tasks in order to ensure sustainable control of costs and income
  • As part of your job, you will support the involvement in product developments and the planning of marketing measures in order to continuously renew the portfolio
  • Finally, you will be responsible for the strategy and procurement of electricity and gas and thus make a significant contribution to the security of supply in the region

Requirements

  • You have successfully completed a degree, ideally in business administration, communication sciences or marketing, or have acquired a comparable academic qualification
  • In addition, you have several years of professional experience in a comparable management position, ideally in sales in the energy sector or in a related environment
  • You are confident in common office and communication technology, especially in SAP, Excel and PowerPoint,
  • You have excellent written and spoken German at native speaker level and a class B driving licence
  • Furthermore, you have a high level of entrepreneurial thinking and action as well as strong communication and social skills to successfully lead the team
  • Finally, you are an assertive and decisive personality who has a high level of personal responsibility and also has a proactive and analytical way of working
