- You will independently set up, retool and efficiently operate STAR 5-axis sliding headstock lathes
- Carefully select, measure and preset tools to determine optimum machining parameters
- Guarantee stable production processes through constant monitoring and targeted process optimisation
- Carefully observe production processes, You routinely recognise and rectify faults
- Quality checks of the components and the complete documentation of the setting parameters are also part of your area of responsibility
- You are a valuable support in sample production, series start-ups and technical questions in production
Requirements
- You have completed training as a cutting machine operator for turning technology (m/f/d), machine and plant operator (m/f/d) or a comparable technical qualification
- You have several years of professional experience in setting up and operating STAR sliding headstock lathes
- You are comfortable working with FANUC controls
- German language skills and a valid work permit are a matter of course for you
- You are willing to work shifts and are flexible
- Technical understanding, strong quality awareness and good problem-solving skills characterise you
- Your way of working is independent, reliable and structured, and your ability to work in a team rounds off your profile
