- You prepare material tests and select the appropriate testing and measuring equipment and devices
- You carefully create and archive test and measurement programmes, for example for 2D and 3D measuring machines
- Material tests, such as hardness, dimensional accuracy, form and surface tests, and analysing the results
- PT and UT tests are carried out according to specifications
- All test and measurement results are fully documented in the CAQ systemsystem
- In the event of deviations, you get to the bottom of the causes and develop suitable corrective measures
- You carry out the acceptance and release of production lines independently
- You support the optimisation of test plans and test procedures as well as the further development of the quality assurance system
- You also actively support the handling of complaints
Requirements
- You will have completed industrial/technical vocational training, for example as a materials tester (m/f/d)
- First professional experience in materials testing is desirable
- Certification in UT (ultrasonic testing) and/or PT (dye penetrant testing) is an advantage
- Good knowledge of German and a valid work permit
- Willingness to work shifts (alternating between early and late shifts, occasionally also other shift systems)
- You are characterised by team spirit and flexibility in your everyday work
