For our client, an internationally operating company in the chemical industry and metal processing in Eisenhüttenstadt, we are looking for you as a Process Engineer (m/f/d) as part of direct placement.

Job description

  • You will be responsible for the detailed planning, careful monitoring and subsequent in-depth evaluation of all relevant metallurgical processes at the production facilities
  • In addition, you will be responsible for the continuous development and systematic optimisation of existing metallurgical processes to increase efficiency and conserve resources
  • Furthermore, you will oversee the conscientious implementation of standard technologies in production and act as the central contact person for problem solving in the operational area
  • The in-depth process analysis is also part of your tasks, where you proactively derive measures to correct and improve production processes
  • as part of your role, you actively support the assurance of technological plant and operational safety in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
  • finally, you are responsible for ensuring the quality of the chemical and metallic products in your area of responsibility by implementing and monitoring suitable processes

Requirements

  • You have successfully completed a degree in metallurgy, process engineering or chemical engineering (m/f/d) to be able to competently fill this demanding position
  • In addition, you have sound theoretical and practical professional experience in the chemical industry, ideally in metallurgical production or process optimisation
  • Your solid knowledge in the basic areas of inorganic chemistry and applied physics will make you a competent contact person:in
  • German language skills at native speaker level in spoken and written as well as your good knowledge of English (at least B2) are mandatory for communication in the international group
  • Furthermore, you have a valid work and residence permit for Germany or citizenship of an EU country for direct entry
  • In addition, you bring a high degree of initiative, above-average motivation and strong assertiveness in your daily work
  • Finally, you are technically adept and work in an extremely structured manner, and you can demonstrate basic knowledge of quality management
