- You carry out incoming goods inspections for fresh fish, frozen goods, packaging materials and auxiliary and operating materials
- You check and document temperatures, in particular the cold chain, storage and transport temperatures
- You carry out organoleptic tests for appearance, odour and quality, appearance, odour and texture
- You also take and label retained samples
- You prepare samples for external laboratories and customers and send them
- In addition, you document all test results in the QM system, ideally using CAQ, M-Files or similar tools
- You work closely with production, purchasing and shipping
Requirements
- You have completed commercial training or training in a food-related profession such as food technology specialist (m/f/d), butcher (m/f/d), cook (m/f/d), baker (m/f/d), Food technology assistant (m/f/d) or comparable - you are also welcome as a career changer (m/f/d) with initial experience in the food industry
- In addition, you ideally have initial experience in quality control or incoming goods inspection
- You have a good understanding of hygiene and cold chain regulations
