- You will be responsible for the timely processing of all import and export transactions in strict compliance with the applicable customs and foreign trade regulations
- In addition, you will be responsible for the complete documentation of incoming and outgoing goods and daily correspondence with external logistics service providers:inside as well as forwarding agents
- Furthermore, you will oversee the entire customs clearance process and ensure that all goods movements are carried out in accordance with dangerous goods regulations and internal chemical standards
- Administrative monitoring of warehouse management and coordination of stock levels are also part of your varied and important tasks
- As part of your job, you support the team in optimising logistics processes and actively contribute to increasing customer satisfaction
- Finally, you are responsible for creating and maintaining relevant master data and ensuring data quality in the ERP system for a smooth logistics chain
Requirements
- You have completed commercial training as a forwarding agent (m/f/d), forwarding and logistics services agent (m/f/d) or industrial clerk (m/f/d)
- In addition, you have initial professional experience in customs clearance and warehouse management, also as a committed career starter (m/f/d)
- You are characterised by your confident knowledge of the common MS Office applications and an ERP system as well as an affinity for chemicals and dangerous goods topics
- Your German language skills at native speaker level in spoken and written form as well as good English skills for international correspondence are mandatory
- Furthermore, you bring a high degree of punctuality and reliability and show yourself to be a smart and open-minded team player:in
