Job description

  • You will be responsible for creating detailed work plans for complex turned and ground parts, precisely taking into account and documenting all technical specifications and production steps
  • In addition, you will be responsible for generating and optimising NC programs for the computer-controlled production machines to ensure efficient and error-free production
  • Furthermore, you will oversee the costing of new and existing parts by accurately determining material, time and resource consumption, to create competitive offers
  • You will also be responsible for analysing the required production steps and processes in order to identify potential for further rationalisation and quality improvement
  • As part of your job, you will support the creation of a realistic time and production plan as well as the organisation of all materials and required work equipment
  • Finally, you will be responsible for systematically rectifying technical problems or errors that arise in the production process in close coordination with the production teams

Requirements

  • You have completed technical training as a cutting machine operator (m/f/d), industrial mechanic (m/f/d) or tool mechanic (m/f/d) with subsequent further training as a technician (m/f/d) or master craftsman (m/f/d)
  • In addition, you have several years of sound professional experience in work preparation or process planning, ideally in the field of machining production processes
  • You are characterised by your solid knowledge of NC programming and the use of modern CAD/CAM systems as well as common office software
  • Your German language skills at native speaker level as well as good written and spoken technical English for communication with suppliers:
  • Furthermore, you have a high level of analytical thinking and a responsible, structured way of working in order to plan complex processes
  • Finally, you are a team-oriented personality and work very reliably and with attention to detail in order to guarantee a high level of precision in the work plans
