Job description

  • You will be responsible for the independent development and precise design of complex die-casting moulds, taking into account all foundry-related requirements and customer specifications
  • You will also be responsible for the detailed design and production-oriented engineering of sophisticated die-casting moulds, trimming tools and the associated fixtures
  • You will also oversee the preparation and ongoing maintenance of all relevant CAD data, as well as the creation of production-related documentation
  • Targeted project support and the active management of sampling processes through to successful series production are also part of your varied responsibilities
  • As part of your role, you will actively support ongoing production by addressing technical queries and contributing to continuous process optimisation
  • Furthermore, you will support foundry-specific tool fine-tuning and apply your in-depth knowledge of castingand tooling technology in a solution-oriented manner

Requirements

  • You also have several years’ specialisation in die-casting technology, as well as relevant practical experience as a design engineer in a traditional foundry
  • Your solid knowledge of the standard CAD systems SolidWorks and AutoCAD, as well as your professional proficiency in MSOffice applications
  • You have native-level written and spoken German, as well as a good command of English for day-to-day communication
