Job description
- You ensure the independent support and professional processing of claims for your area, whereby you precisely assign the internal and external responsibilities of your projects
- You always successfully carry out the evaluation of technical solution alternatives and the detailed calculation of repair costs in close coordination with the respective assembly managers in your team
- You coordinate the necessary resources such as materials and internal and external specialists for upcoming warranty assignments with foresight, to ensure smooth and timely processing
- The regular organisation of warranty meetings is just as much a part of your area of responsibility as the monitoring of on-site assignments, whereby you meticulously document your progress in reports
- As a contact person and competent link between the shipping company, the supplier companies and the shipyard within the scope of after-sales service, the supplier companies and the shipyard in order to process your customer enquiries professionally
- you will confidently carry out the invoicing of warranty services provided after prior consultation with your project or department management and keep an eye on the economic goals of your project
Requirements
- You have successfully completed training as an industrial clerk (m/f/d), office management clerk (m/f/d) or shipping clerk (m/f/d) and ideally have your first shipyard experience
- Your proactive and quality-orientated way of working is characterised by many years of experience in the commercial processing of warranty claims as well as sound knowledge of claim management within the maritime industry

- Your German language skills at native speaker level, both written and spoken, as well as your fluency in English are essential for you in your daily communication with all parties involved
- A high degree of personal responsibility, assertiveness and a pronounced solution-orientation in order to always act professionally even in complex negotiation situations with your customers :
- You have an unrestricted work permit for the German labour market as a complete prerequisite for this position and your profile is complemented by your willingness to make occasional external appointments
