Job description

  • You will be responsible for the independent preparation of monthly, and annual financial statements according to HGB as well as the participation in the complex consolidated financial statements
  • In addition, you will be responsible for the organisation and monitoring of the entire accounting process including the reconciliation of all G/L and personal accounts
  • Furthermore, you will be responsible for the preparation of company tax returns such as sales tax and corporation tax and actively support all official tax audits
  • Your tasks also include the evaluation of key business figures as well as regular liquidity planning and reporting to the management
  • As part of your work, you support strategic investment planning and advise the management competently on all financial and tax issues
  • Finally, you are responsible for the continuous optimisation of processes in finance and ensure compliance with all legal accounting regulations and deadlines

Requirements

  • You have a degree in business administration (m/f/d) for finance, economics (m/f/d) or a comparable degree with a focus on accounting
  • In addition, you have several years of sound professional experience in balance sheet accounting or controlling, ideally within a corporate environment or in the municipal sector
  • You have a sound knowledge of common ERP systems and are adept at using MS Office, especially Excel for data analysis, You are characterised by your professional skills
  • You have a native level of written and spoken German and a precise way of expressing yourself for internal and external communication
  • Furthermore, you have a high level of analytical thinking and a strong affinity for numbers for the preparation of complex financial contexts
  • Finally, you are absolutely reliable and always work in a structured and timely manner to ensure error-free reporting to management
