Job description

  • You will be responsible for the independent preparation of monthly, financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and are also involved in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with international IFRS standards
  • In addition, you will be responsible for the precise reconciliation of accounts and the clarification of open items, ensuring high data quality within the entire financial accounting department at all times
  • Furthermore, you will be responsible for the preparation of regular budgets and forecasts and support the management of the finance department with well-founded business analyses for the management of the entire company
  • The preparation of advance VAT returns and the preparation of annual tax returns are also part of your tasks within the framework of tax compliance.

Requirements

  • You have completed training as an industrial clerk (m/f/d), office management assistant (m/f/d) or tax clerk (m/f/d) and have also successfully completed further training as a certified accountant (m/f/d)
  • In addition, you have several years of professional experience in balance sheet accounting within an international environment, Ideally, you have already gained in-depth knowledge in a manufacturing industrial company
  • Your sound knowledge of the German Commercial Code and your initial experience in the application of IFRS guidelines characterise you as a professionally experienced personality for this demanding position
  • You have a native level of written and spoken German and a good command of English for daily communication within our client's internationally active group of companies
