Job description

  • You will carry out ongoing financial accounting independently
  • You will reliably prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB
  • You will be responsible for general ledger, asset and accounts receivable accounting
  • You will manage accounts payable and travel expense accounting and ensure that processes run smoothly
  • You will reconcile accounts, clarify discrepancies and carry out closing entries independently
  • you are actively involved in the conversion and further development of the accounting software
  • you analyse existing processes and develop targeted optimisation proposals
  • you work closely with Accounts Payable and Controlling
  • as a reliable interface, you communicate with management, departments and external parties on all accounting-related topics
  • you ensure stable, transparent and audit-proof processes
  • commercial and administrative tasks relating to projects, contract management and coordination are also part of your area of responsibility
  • you reliably manage and monitor contracts such as service, rental and insurance contracts

Requirements

  • Completed commercial training, for example as an office management assistant (m/f/d), with further training in balance sheet accounting or a comparable qualification
  • You have several years of professional experience in financial and balance sheet accounting
  • Very good knowledge of the German Commercial Code (HGB) and tax and accounting and accounting
  • you have experience in using accounting software and are open to process optimisation
  • ideally, you have knowledge of MS Dynamics NAV or MS Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • good written and spoken German language skills are a matter of course for you
  • you can present a valid work permit
  • you have a structured, independent and responsible way of working
  • strong communication skills and enjoyment of cross-team collaboration characterise you
