For our client, a large company in the automotive supply industry in Amt Wachsenburg, we are looking for you as Accountant (m/f/d) as part of a direct placement.

Job description

  • You will assume full responsibility for the timely preparation of all monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with the applicable commercial law regulations for our client company
  • In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring all relevant payroll postings as well as monitoring and precise control of all cash flows to ensure the overall financial position
  • Furthermore, you will oversee the coordination with external partners and act as a competent contact person for auditors, tax advisors, banks and the relevant tax authorities
  • You will also be responsible for the development and implementation of new accounting guidelines and the continuous assurance of correct financial processes within the existing system landscape
  • As part of your role, you will support the management of accounts payable, accounts receivable and asset accounting and reliably process all advance VAT returns and the necessary tax returns
  • Finally, you will be responsible for the professional management and targeted development of your subordinate colleagues:and ensure the efficient structuring of the entire finance department

Requirements

  • You have completed commercial training as an industrial clerk (m/f/d), office management clerk (m/f/d) or have successfully completed a degree in finance or business administration
  • In addition, you have sound professional experience in balance sheet accounting or finance, preferably within a manufacturing industrial company or an internationally operating automotive supplier
  • You have a sound knowledge of common ERP systems and are proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel, characterise you in your daily work
  • You have a native level of written and spoken German and a good command of English for confident communication in an international corporate environment
  • Furthermore, you have a high degree of reliability and a pronounced affinity for numbers and impress with a structured and solution-oriented approach to complex issues
  • Finally, you are a team-oriented personality with leadership potential and work independently at all times, conscientiously and with a high awareness of discretion and adherence to deadlines
