Job description
- You will be fully responsible for the independent preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, quarterly and annual financial statements of your division, taking into account all relevant accounting regulations
- The comprehensive clarification of accounts and the reconciliation of intercompany transactions within the global group of companies are part of your challenging and varied daily tasks in the finance department

- Through your proactive participation in the preparation of monthly analyses and controlling reports, you provide valuable decision-making bases for management and optimise existing internal processes in a sustainable manner

- The timely preparation of all tax reports such as advance VAT returns and Intrastat declarations to the authorities is your responsibility and requires the highest level of precision and technical expertise
- You are responsible for the formal review and account assignment-compliant processing of all incoming invoices and actively support the team in the annual budget and forecast planning for the company and forecast planning for the company
- As a competent contact person, you will communicate confidently with tax advisors and auditors and work closely with the controlling team at the Italian group headquarters on joint strategic projects
Requirements
- You have successfully completed your training as a tax clerk (m/f/d), industrial clerk (m/f/d) or accountant (m/f/d) and have a sound commercial basis for this position
- You are characterised by several years of relevant professional experience in accounting in accordance with HGB, Ideally, you have already gained initial practical experience with international IFRS guidelines
- In-depth knowledge of current VAT law as well as a structured and independent way of working will enable you to confidently deal with complex tax issues within your diverse field of activity
- A strong understanding of numbers and a confident handling of common MS Office applications, in particular advanced Excel skills, are essential for the efficient processing of your daily tasks
- you have sound user knowledge of modern ERP systems and ideally have already successfully gained initial practical experience in the use of SAP within an industrial environment
- you are able to communicate confidently in German at native speaker level, both written and spoken, and are fluent in English for your daily correspondence
- you have a work permit valid for the local labour market, which is mandatory for the permanent and legally compliant performance of this demanding job with our client
