Job description

  • You will be fully involved in the accounting department and ensure the correct recording of all business transactions through your conscientious working methods
  • In addition, you will be responsible for the independent processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable, including monitoring all open items and carrying out dunning procedures
  • Furthermore, you will be responsible for the daily and accounts receivable accounting, including monitoring all open items and carrying out the dunning process
  • In addition, you will be responsible for the daily booking of bank accounts and ensure the timely and error-free reconciliation of accounts in accordance with internal guidelines
  • The creation of invoices is also one of your tasks, always keeping an eye on the commercial principles and the specific requirements of the industry

  • finally, you will be responsible for the professional processing of cancellations and proactively clarify discrepancies to ensure high data quality within the entire financial accounting department

Requirements

  • You have successfully completed training as an office management assistant (m/f/d), industrial clerk (m/f/d) or tax clerk (m/f/d) and have sound commercial expertise
  • In addition, you have sound professional experience in accounting, ideally in a service company or in the logistics industry, and are familiar with the processes in modern accounting
  • You have a sound knowledge of common IT skills such as MS Office, especially Excel, and in a common accounting system characterise you and make your daily work easier
  • You have a native level of written and spoken German and communicate confidently and precisely with customers and your team colleagues
  • Furthermore, you have a high degree of reliability and an affinity for numbers, to always successfully complete the assigned tasks with the necessary care and accuracy
  • Finally, you are a team-oriented personality and work in a structured and independent manner, which means that you always keep a cool head and an overview even in work-intensive phases
