Job description

  • You will be responsible for the independent validation of all incoming invoices as well as the professional account assignment to the corresponding G/L accounts to ensure correct accounting
  • In addition, you will be responsible for the verification and correct booking of VAT with special consideration of the reverse charge procedure for telecommunications providers
  • Furthermore, you will be responsible for the complete processing and booking of your colleagues' travel expense reports:
  • The processing of reminders and all associated correspondence with suppliers and partners is also part of your responsibilities:
  • As part of your job, you will support the team in the optimisation of accounting processes and ensure that all business transactions are fully documented
  • Finally, you will be responsible for clarifying differences on the vendor accounts and will be available as a competent contact person for internal specialist departments in case of queries at any time

Requirements

  • You have successfully completed training as an office management assistant (m/f/d), industrial clerk (m/f/d) or tax clerk (m/f/d)
  • In addition, you have at least three years of relevant professional experience in accounting, ideally gained within a larger group environment or a medium-sized company
  • You are particularly characterised by your secure knowledge of the ERP system Microsoft Dynamics as well as a general affinity for IT and an experienced use of MS Office
  • You have a native level of written and spoken German and a good basic knowledge of English for processing international documents
  • In addition, you have a high degree of reliability and a pronounced affinity for numbers, in order to always depict the complex tax issues precisely and error-free
  • Finally, you are a real team player and always work in a structured, conscientious manner and with a high focus on the timely completion of your assigned tasks
