Job description

  • You will be responsible for the complete processing and conscientious checking of all incoming invoices to ensure correct and timely recording in the financial system
  • In addition, you will be responsible for the continuous maintenance of accounts and master data within the system to ensure high data quality
  • Furthermore, you will be responsible for all payment transactions and keep an eye on all deadlines at all times, while you work at a modern and ergonomically equipped DATEV workstation
  • as a competent contact person for all internal colleagues as well as for external suppliers
  • :colleagues and external suppliers with queries about invoices is also part of your daily tasks
  • As part of your role, you will support the finance team in optimising internal processes and contribute significantly to the efficient handling of accounting through your accuracy
  • Finally, you will be responsible for filing accounting-related documents and preparing the necessary documents for the monthly and annual financial statements in close coordination with your manager

Requirements

  • You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship as an office management assistant (m/f/d), industrial clerk (m/f/d) or alternatively as a tax clerk (m/f/d)
  • In addition, you have sound professional experience in accounts payable as well as in the systematic checking and posting of incoming invoices in compliance with legal requirements
