For our client, a medium-sized company in the field of modular system kits for industrial applications in Solingen, we are looking for you as Accounts Payable Clerk (m/f/d) as part of a temporary employment contract with an option to be taken on.

Job description

  • You will be responsible for the complete recording,
  • In addition, you will be responsible for the conscientious maintenance of supplier master data and ensure an up-to-date database in the system at all times through regular reconciliations
  • Furthermore, you will be responsible for the administration of open items and thus provide an essential basis for the short and medium-term liquidity planning of your new employer
  • The digital archiving of all accounting documents is also part of your tasks, always ensuring complete documentation for future auditing purposes
  • As part of your role, you will support the team in optimising existing processes in accounts payable and actively contribute your own suggestions for improvement to increase efficiency
  • Finally, you will be responsible for professional correspondence with national and international business partners in the event of queries regarding invoices or reminders and clarify these independently

Requirements

  • You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship as an industrial clerk (m/f/d), office management clerk (m/f/d) or tax clerk (m/f/d) in your previous career
  • In addition, you have sound professional experience in financial accounting with a focus on accounts payable and are very familiar with the legal requirements of accounting
  • You have a sound knowledge of common ERP systems and are experienced in using MS Office applications, especially Excel, in your daily work
  • You have a native level of written and spoken German and a good basic knowledge of English for communicating with customers
  • Furthermore, you have a high affinity for numbers and a pronounced service orientation, to always support internal processes in a quality-conscious and timely manner
  • Finally, you are an absolute team player and always work in a structured manner and with a high level of self-motivation to master your diverse daily tasks
