Job description

  • You will be responsible for the complete verification and the factual and mathematical account assignment of all incoming vendor invoices in compliance with the applicable tax regulations
  • In addition, you will be responsible for the timely posting of invoice documents within the ERP system as well as the continuous reconciliation of open items of your vendor accounts
  • Furthermore, you will be responsible for the conscientious master data maintenance of your vendors.system and the continuous reconciliation of open items in your vendor accounts
  • In addition, you are responsible for the conscientious maintenance of your vendor master data and ensure high data quality for all payment transactions through regular maintenance
  • The preparation and execution of weekly payment runs is also one of your tasks,
  • You will actively support the team in preparing the monthly and annual financial statements as well as carrying out intercompany reconciliations
  • Finally, you will be responsible for professional correspondence with the supplier in the event of discrepancies and clarifying any issues:

Requirements

  • You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship as an office management assistant (m/f/d), industrial clerk (m/f/d) or tax clerk (m/f/d)
  • In addition, you have sound professional experience in operational accounts payable and a deep understanding of the processes of modern accounting in an industrial company
  • You are characterised by your confident knowledge of Office applications such as Word and Excel, You are confident in working with complex lists, especially in spreadsheets
  • Written and spoken German at native speaker level is essential for daily communication and the legally compliant processing of all accounting transactions in your area
  • Furthermore, you have a high degree of reliability and a strong affinity for numbers, in order to complete daily tasks on time and with the utmost precision
  • Finally, you are a team-orientated person and always work in a structured and independent manner with high standards for the quality of your own work results
