For our client, a medium-sized company in digital railway system technology in Karlsfeld, we are looking for you as After Sales Spare Parts Clerk (m/f/d) as part of the temporary employment with takeover option.

Job description

  • You will be responsible for the technical support and handling of after-sales services for passenger information systems and will be the first point of contact for all customer concerns in this area
  • In addition, you will be responsible for analysing complex error patterns based on customer descriptions and assessing the causes as well as the necessary follow-up steps
  • Furthermore, you will coordinate precise repairs, the dispatch of replacement devices as well as the planning and organisation of service calls (remote or on-site)
  • The entire spare parts management, including determining requirements, scheduling and pricing the framework agreement price lists, is also one of your main tasks
  • You identify and select suitable spare parts components (e.g. power supply units, CPU boards). e.g. power supply units, CPU boards and displays) and ensure their availability at all times
  • Finally, you will be responsible for preparing quotations and orders as well as order processing in SAP, including delivery notes, packing slips and deadline tracking

Requirements

  • You have completed a commercial or technical apprenticeship, such as industrial clerk (m/f/d), office management clerk (m/f/d) or electronics technician (m/f/d), with a strong technical understanding
  • In addition, you have initial professional experience in the spare parts or service processing of complex technical products and have sound knowledge of logistics and warehouse processes
  • You have a sound knowledge of the common MS Office applications as well as SAP for quotation and order processing and are characterised by an efficient way of working
  • You have a good knowledge of electronic components, such as power supply units, CPU boards or displays in order to be able to reliably analyse error descriptions and draw technical conclusions
  • Your German language skills at native speaker level and very good written and spoken English will help you in your daily dealings with international customers and partners
  • Finally, you are a team-oriented and strong communicator with a high degree of confidence in negotiating with customers and always work in a structured, independent and solution-oriented manner
