• Your main task is to carry out systematic and professionally complex diagnostics on vehicles using suitable diagnostic tools and aids such as visual inspection, on-board diagnostics, test drive and off-board diagnostics
• You will also determine the cause of specific malfunctions and initiate suitable measures to rectify the problem
• In difficult diagnostic cases, you will advise and support the workshop staff and provide information
• You will carry out final functional and quality tests to ensure the sustainability of the repair
• In addition, you will check that the vehicle leaves the workshop in perfect condition

• You have completed technical vocational training, e.g. as a as an automotive mechatronics technician (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
• You have successfully completed a series of training courses to become a certified diagnostic technician (m/f/d)
• You have at least two years of relevant work experience
• You are familiar with Mercedes Benz vehicles and have sound diagnostic skills and troubleshooting methods for these makes as well as annual participation in product training
• You have also completed introductory training in Mercedes-Benz-specific diagnostic systems
• The prerequisites for employment are valid work papers (work permit) and knowledge of spoken German
