For our client, a medium-sized electrical engineering and engineering services company in Frankenberg, we are looking for you as a Purchaser (m/f/d) as part of a temporary employment programme with a takeover option.

Job description

  • You will be responsible for the operational procurement of electronic, and mechanical components for production and ensure seamless material availability for all manufacturing processes
  • In addition, you are responsible for the precise recording and consistent monitoring of all ordering processes in the system and ensure that deliveries are made on time through proactive dunning

  • In addition, you will oversee the development and sustainable maintenance of international supplier relationships and act as a competent interface between the company and its global partners
  • Support in the detailed analysis of relevant procurement markets is also part of your tasks, to identify new sources of supply and ensure long-term competitiveness
  • As part of your role, you will support the preparation and execution of complex supplier negotiations and actively participate in the design of optimal conditions and framework agreements
  • Finally, you will be responsible for close cooperation with various internal departments such as production or logistics and coordinate all purchasing-relevant processes to achieve the common corporate goals


Requirements

  • You have completed training as an industrial clerk (m/f/d), wholesale and foreign trade management clerk (m/f/d) or office management clerk (m/f/d) with sound practical work experience
  • In addition, you have relevant expertise in the field of electrical engineering, which is essential for the technical evaluation of the components and parts to be procured in your daily work environment
  • You are characterised by your confident knowledge of the common MS Office applications as well as an adept handling of modern ERP systems and enable you to efficiently handle all digital purchasing processes
  • You have a native level of written and spoken German and a good command of English, which is essential for communicating with international suppliers and partners in day-to-day business
  • Furthermore, you have a high level of negotiating skills and a strong ability to work in a team and impress with your structured and goal-oriented approach to working on your diverse and complex tasks
  • Finally, you are a strong communicator and have a profound technical understanding, which helps you to optimally implement the requirements of the specialist departments in the procurement processes
