Job description

  • You create, organise and archive safety data sheets - both for internal purposes and for private label customers - as well as operating instructions and risk assessments for hazardous substances
  • Registration and and registration matters with offices and authorities worldwide
  • You handle technical correspondence with suppliers on safety-related issues
  • You advise internally and externally on safety-related issues and are the central point of contact
  • You provide technical support and contribute your expertise to research and development tasks
  • In seminars, seminars, lectures and occupational safety instructions regarding hazardous substances
  • You implement the requirements of European chemicals legislation (REACH, GHS/CLP) safely
  • You are continuously involved in optimising, expanding and adapting the quality assurance system
  • You carry out business trips that arise from your area of responsibility, You are responsible for carrying out business trips
  • You observe and consistently implement the requirements of the Chemicals Prohibition Ordinance
  • You work on VOC and incident balances and document the results
  • In close consultation with other departments, you coordinate all relevant interfaces

Requirements

  • A degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or a comparable qualification will bring you into this responsible role
  • Founded knowledge of hazardous substance management, European legislation (REACH, CLP, GHS) and their practical application are available to you
  • You have already gained experience in the creation of safety data sheets, for example with software such as SDS Manager or IUCLID
  • Practical experience with risk assessments and operating instructions is available to you
  • Experience in dealing with ERP systems (e. g. B. SAP) is an advantage
  • Knowledge of occupational safety and environmental law is part of your everyday work
  • Good English skills enable you to communicate with international compliance requirements
  • Your willingness to undergo further training ensures long-term development
  • Good written and spoken German skills strengthen your clarity in documentation and coordination
  • A strong analytical mindset, a structured way of working and a high level of diligence characterise you
  • a valid work permit rounds off your profile
