- You will be responsible for CNC programming and adapt programmes directly on the machine (e.g. ShopTurn) or via the CAM interface. ShopTurn) or via the CAM interface
- You carry out the machine set-up independently by selecting and measuring turning bands and cutting inserts and precisely aligning the clamping devices
- Both in series and one-off production, you monitor the automated turning process from the bar or machine complex individual parts in the chuck
- with high-precision measuring equipment, such as micrometers and 3D coordinate measuring machines, you continuously check diameters, lengths and surface roughness
Requirements
- You have completed specialised training in the metalworking sector, ideally as a cutting machine operator (m/f/d), lathe operator (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
- In addition, you have sound experience in machining technology
- With CNC controls such as Siemens Sinumerik, Heidenhain or Fanuc and know their cycles inside out
- You can read complex technical drawings with confidence and independently determine the right machining strategy for demanding contours
- In addition, you have a confident command of written and spoken German
- A strong awareness of quality and extreme accuracy when working with tight tolerances, often in the range of a few thousandths of a millimetre
- A valid work permit rounds off your profile
