Job description

  • You plan and coordinate the commissioning of complex industrial plants on site and ensure optimal coordination as early as the development phase
  • Leading and coordinating the interdisciplinary commissioning team, organising subcontractors and daily coordination with project management, the customer and other stakeholders are part of your daily routine
  • During commissioning, you will carry out functional tests independently, accompany performance tests and ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards
  • As the interface between the customer, project management and authorities, you will be responsible for escalation management in the event of deviations and report regularly on progress and risks
  • Final documentation, organisation of customer acceptance and handover of the system to regular operation are your responsibility - you will also support the customer during the start-up phase

Requirements

  • You have a degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, electrical engineering, software development or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience
  • You have several years of experience in plant engineering and the commissioning of complex industrial plants, ideally with international projects
  • You have sound expertise in automation systems, process control technology and pneumatics; Experience with Siemens Simatic S7 is an advantage
  • HSE expertise and reliable quality management are part of your standard
  • Willingness to travel internationally of up to 75% and longer stays abroad are no problem for you
  • You are fluent in English to at least B2 level; You also have a very good command of written and spoken German
  • You routinely use MS Office and digital project management tools
  • You are characterised by strong leadership skills, flexibility, analytical thinking and a strong customer focus
  • A valid work permit rounds off your profile
