Job description

  • You will be responsible for time and editorial planning, preparing the editorial meeting and actively shaping the process
  • Editing, proofreading and editing texts are also part of your area of responsibility
  • You will independently research and familiarise yourself with new topics, and critically scrutinise both submissions and corrections from the specialist teams and team leaders
  • In addition, you check the data quality, for example with regard to statistics, committee lists, submissions for texts as well as image and graphic material
  • You clarify open questions or discrepancies with peers, team leaders and, if necessary, the in-house team:colleagues, team leaders and, if necessary, the management
  • you also plan and handle the dispatch of the annual report
  • coordination and agreement with the people involved, such as the General Secretariat, team leaders, specialist teams, PrÖ-Kolleg:innen, external author:and stakeholders are part of your tasks
  • In addition, you will be involved in tenders and the awarding of contracts for external service providers, particularly in the areas of layout & typesetting, printing and dispatch preparation
  • Cooperation and process coordination with external service providers are also part of your day-to-day work

Requirements

  • You have at least a Bachelor's degreedegree or a comparable qualification
  • you have a strong sense of language and experience in editing and dealing with texts
  • ideally you have already gained project experience
  • you are confident in using MS Office
  • you are able to communicate professionally in written and spoken German
  • you are responsible and creative and work in a solution-oriented manner
