- You will design and project technical devices and systems in shipbuilding or mechanical engineering
- Develop technical solution proposals and implement them constructively, for example in the form of drafts, drawings and parts lists
- In addition, you will carry out design calculations and create functional sequences
- for the design department, production and suppliers, you will draw up the necessary specifications
- you will prepare test documents and take part in tests and acceptance tests
- you will be responsible for checking and quality assurance of design documents
- you will provide active support in make-or-buy decisions (in-house production versus purchased parts)
- you will be responsible for maintaining technical data in CAD and ERP systems (such as SAP and Siemens NX)
- with production, suppliers and neighbouring departments
Requirements
- You have a degree in engineering (FH/Uni/TH) or specialised technical training with several years of professional experience, e.g.as a design engineer (m/f/d)
- It is essential that you have several years of experience in Siemens NX
- You will also benefit from sound CAD knowledge
- You are confident in using shipyard-specific EDP/CAD/CAM/CAE software
- You have a good command of English
- Your strengths include an analytical, process-orientated and structured thinking
- strong communication skills, the ability to work in a team and an independent way of working round off your profile
