Job description

  • You will actively work at the interface between physics, chemistry, hardware and software and use your expertise to continuously improve and optimise the inkjet technology in our industrial printers
  • You will develop experiments and test series from theoretical analyses and test results, which provide you with an in-depth understanding of the underlying effects and processes
  • you further develop existing algorithms and design innovative algorithmic strategies to sustainably improve the performance and print quality of our products
  • you design and carry out numerical simulations independently, supporting your investigations and making a significant contribution to the validation of the results achieved


Requirements

  • You have a degree in experimental physics or a related field and also have a high affinity for algorithmic and software development
  • Alternatively, you have studied computer science or information science and are enthusiastic about fundamental physical issues
  • Founded knowledge of fluid dynamics or electrodynamics is part of your profile and supports you in analysing technical processes
  • You already have programming skills in C++ or C#, Knowledge in the use of AI coding tools is an advantage for you and expands your spectrum
  • You can routinely translate complex questions into numerical simulations, implement them independently and interpret them well
  • You communicate fluently in German and English and contribute your skills to the international team
