Job description

  • You will be responsible for the professional preparation of detailed field of vision analyses for optical and optronic systems and ensure compliance with all relevant technical parameters
  • In addition, you will be responsible for the precise definition of the positions of all system components, taking strict account of the applicable legal regulations and the specific technical customer specifications
  • Furthermore, you will supervise the full integration of optical systems such as rear-view mirrors or camera and monitor systems, consistently observing the current ECE guidelines and the applicable StVZO

  • As part of your work, you will support the definition and coordination of the necessary electrical interfaces, to ensure smooth mechanical integration of the components into the overall system
  • Finally, you will be responsible for the creation and complete documentation of all design documents using CAD Siemens NX and will also carry out the necessary verifications and verifications for all integrated components


Requirements

  • You have a degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering or plant engineering and therefore have the necessary theoretical foundation for this demanding and technically in-depth position
  • In addition, you have initial sound professional experience in the field of design or system integration, whereby you have already been able to successfully demonstrate your acquired expertise in practical application
  • Your confident knowledge in the use of CAD programmes and PLM systems, preferably Siemens NX, characterise you and enable you to work efficiently on complex technical design tasks
  • You have a very good command of written and spoken German at native speaker level and a good command of English to ensure smooth communication within the international project teams and documentation
  • Furthermore, you have a high level of technical understanding and creative thinking, which helps you to find innovative solutions even for complex challenges in system design
