Job description
- You will take over the professional representation of the fleet management and will be responsible for the operational control and strategic monitoring of all transport processes within regional local transport
- In addition, you will be responsible for organising on-time deliveries to customers and ensuring excellent service quality through precise monitoring of transports
- Furthermore, you will be responsible for the comprehensive scheduling and efficient deployment planning of the entire truck fleet, to ensure optimum utilisation of vehicle-specific capacities from an economic perspective
- Active communication with your own drivers, the adjacent specialist departments and external customers is also part of your daily tasks:
- Your daily tasks also include ensuring the smooth coordination of all delivery processes
- As part of your job, you support technical readiness by regularly carrying out vehicle inspections and coordinating all necessary workshop visits for the entire company fleet
- Finally, you are responsible for strict compliance with legal framework conditions, in particular checking driving and rest times as well as all relevant regulations of the applicable driving personnel ordinance for driving personnel
Requirements
- Completed training as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk (m/f/d), industrial clerk (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification forms the solid foundation for your daily work in fleet management
- You have sound professional experience in the operational scheduling of heavy commercial vehicles and are familiar with the specific challenges of logistics management in the dynamic environment of regional transport
- Founded knowledge of legal regulations, in particular with regard to driving and rest times as well as general load securing, in your daily planning
- You are confident in dealing with modern IT infrastructure and common ERP systems such as SAP or AS 400, whereby this knowledge significantly supports your everyday work
- Written and spoken German at native speaker level is essential for internal and external communication with all stakeholders involved:
