• In your daily work, you create a safe and appreciative atmosphere for children aged 0-6 years
• With an eye for the children's needs, you support their age-appropriate development in areas such as language, motor skills and social behaviour
• By planning and implementing a wide range of educational activities - from arts and crafts to music and nature experiences - you create inspiring learning moments
• Carefully observe each child, document their development in the portfolio and use observation forms for targeted assessment
• from your observations you derive individual support measures and hold respectful discussions with parents
• you work closely together in the team, plan joint activities and regularly reflect on your pedagogical work
• you will expertly accompany new children and their families as they arrive and build a stable, trusting relationship
• you will actively help to organise the daily routine - from mealtimes and rest times to hygiene, indoor and outdoor play and exercise
• during excursions,
• You will take on organisational tasks and ensure that everything runs smoothly during excursions, parties and projects
• You will be sensitive to any abnormalities, report them responsibly and work with advice centres if necessary
• You will promote health, exercise, social behaviour and conflict resolution in a targeted manner, thereby strengthening the holistic development of the children

• A recognised educational qualification - e.g. as a state-recognised educator (m/f/d), childcare worker (m/f/d) or socio-educational assistant (m/f/d) - is part of your professional self-image
