Job description

  • You will be responsible for the consistent implementation of all enforcement measures for public and private law claims in strict compliance with the applicable legal framework for municipal receivables management
  • In addition, you will be responsible for the detailed case-by-case examination of the financial circumstances and the professional application for debt, salary and rent collection, rent and account seizures in the city area
  • Furthermore, you will be responsible for the entire insolvency processing including the examination and registration of claims as well as continuous communication with the responsible insolvency administrators to meet deadlines
  • The processing of irrecoverable claims with well-founded proposals for write-offs and remissions is also part of your tasks within the framework of internal accounting processes
  • As part of your work, you will support the initiation of foreclosures and the registration of security mortgages and will also be responsible for the tax law assessment of complex contractual agreements
  • Finally, you will be responsible for the professional execution of dunning runs and the recording and preparation of individual instalment payment agreements to secure the city's liquidity and revenue

Requirements

  • You have completed training as an administrative assistant (m/f/d), office management clerk (m/f/d) or tax clerk (m/f/d) as well as specialist further training as an administrative specialist (m/f/d)
  • In addition, you have relevant professional experience in municipal enforcement or general receivables management as well as sound knowledge of the specialised enforcement programme avviso
  • You have a sound knowledge of the application of tax law principles such as § 2b UStG as well as the preparation of tax returns and input tax returns You are characterised professionally
  • German language skills at native speaker level, both written and spoken, as well as a precise way of expressing yourself when preparing legally compliant notices and documents are a matter of course for you
  • Furthermore, you have a high degree of assertiveness towards debtors and a pronounced ability to work under pressure when dealing with difficult social situations in the field
  • Finally, you are absolutely reliable in dealing with sensitive financial data and always work in a structured manner, conscientious and team-orientated within the entire financial administration of our client
