For our client, a medium-sized logistics service provider and transport solutions company in Grafing, we are looking for you as Export Clerk (m/f/d) as part of a temporary employment contract with a takeover option.

Job description

  • You will be responsible for all aspects of order processing, including the preparation of quotations, order confirmations and all necessary customs clearance documents, invoices and shipping documents of all kinds
  • In addition, you will be responsible for the coordination and smooth handling of worldwide exports and national shipments via air, sea and road transport
  • Furthermore, you will be responsible for the entire import logistics process, including professional customs clearance in compliance with all legal requirements for a smooth flow of goods into Germany, sea and road transport

  • International customer correspondence in German and English will also be part of your duties, to ensure professional communication with all global partners
  • As part of your job, you will support the organisation of complex parcel shipments, special trips and demanding trade fair transports for punctual delivery to the customer
  • Finally, you will be responsible for the conscientious checking of all freight documents and ensure that all export processes comply with current customs regulations and internal quality standards

Requirements

  • You have completed training as a forwarding and logistics services clerk (m/f/d), industrial clerk (m/f/d) or office management clerk (m/f/d)
  • In addition, you have sound professional experience in export processing as well as in the preparation of customs documents and in dealing with the common modes of transport
  • Your solid knowledge of IT skills, especially in common ERP systems and MS Office applications and ideally in ATLAS, are what characterise you for this position
  • Written and spoken German at native speaker level and fluency in English are essential for internal and external communication with all parties involved
  • You have a valid work permit and reside in Germany, in order to be able to carry out the activities professionally without legal restrictions as part of your daily work
  • Furthermore, you have a high degree of organisational skills and team orientation in order to always maintain an overview even in complex logistics projects
  • Finally, you work in a structured and independent manner, always showing a high level of service orientation towards the customer
