For our client, a medium-sized company in the cutlery and metal industry in Solingen, we are looking for you as Finance and HR Administrator (m/f/d) as part of a direct placement.

Job description

  • You will be responsible for full financial accounting including accounts receivable, accounts payable and asset accounting and ensure complete documentation of all business transactions
  • In addition, you will be responsible for preparing legally compliant monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with the applicable provisions of the German Commercial Code
  • Furthermore, you will be responsible for preparing and analysing business reports and statistics, to create a transparent basis for liquidity and earnings planning
  • The timely execution of all payment transactions and the monitoring of important deadlines vis-à-vis authorities and financial institutions are also part of your daily tasks
  • As part of your job, you will support the preparation of shareholder meetings and act as a competent contact person for tax consultants and external auditors
  • In addition, you will support Human Resources by independently preparing payroll accounting for around and payroll accounting for around 70 employees in compliance with legal requirements
  • Finally, you are responsible for the professional maintenance of personnel files, recruiting new talent and working in a spirit of trust with the company's existing works council

Requirements

  • A completed apprenticeship as an industrial clerk (m/f/d), office management assistant (m/f/d) or tax clerk (m/f/d) as well as further training as a financial accountant (m/f/d) form your foundation
  • Founded and mandatory specialist knowledge in financial accounting and human resources, which you have already been able to apply successfully in a comparable position
  • You are characterised by your confident knowledge in the use of DATEV and the common Microsoft Office products, whereby knowledge of AIDA is advantageous
  • You have a native level of written and spoken German, to ensure smooth communication with internal departments, authorities and partners
  • Furthermore, you have a high degree of discretion and reliability in dealing with sensitive data as well as a strong affinity for numbers
  • Finally, you are a team-oriented personality and work in a structured and absolutely independent manner at all times, to ensure the high quality standards in administration
  • In addition to your professional expertise, you will also have a valid work permit and permanent residence in Germany to fulfil this responsible position
