Job description
- You will be responsible for providing professional advice, comprehensive support and technical support for municipal customers in the area of financial software
- In addition, you will be responsible for providing qualified support for complex budget planning, the implementation of budget years and the preparation of legally compliant annual financial statements
- In addition, you will oversee the correct processing of taxes and duties and ensure compliance with all legal requirements for local government
- The proactive analysis and professional correction of differences in the financial data records is also part of your daily tasks in day-to-day operations
- As part of your job, you will support the introduction and ongoing support of the e-invoice for the digitalisation of internal and external processes
- Finally, you will be responsible for the proper processing of all payment transactions and will be on hand to advise customers at all times in the event of technical queries
Requirements
- You have successfully completed training as an office management assistant (m/f/d), industrial clerk (m/f/d) or administrative assistant (m/f/d)
- In addition, you have sound professional experience in finance or public administration, ideally with a direct connection to municipal financial processes and structures
- You are characterised by your solid knowledge of common IT skills and modern ERP systems, enabling you to efficiently process all digital business transactions
- Written and spoken German at native speaker level and a precise way of expressing yourself are a matter of course for you when advising customers
- In addition, you have a high degree of service orientation and a strong affinity for numbers, to reliably solve complex customer enquiries at all times
- Finally, you are a real team player and always work in a structured and responsible manner to optimise the municipal financial processes of your daily projects
